Love the sandbox. The canapé doesn’t hold well when it rains and it hard to take down with one person but other than that I love it.

Everything assembled very well. I think to buy the wood and hardware, you would get pretty close to the 115 this cost. My modifications: I stapled the cloth around the base, I added a center support under each bench. Without the support, the benches sagged under our 35 lb kids. I just put a block of 2x4 under. I may have to put a hole in the canopy. The canopy fills up with water when it rains causing it to droop and stretch. So putting in a hole to drain the water would be good. The canopy will still blot out sun and many leaves.I like the design to turn the lid into benches. It still let's some leaves in but the kids have sifters.

Such a cute little sandbox. Love how the benches turn into a cover. I will say though, it was a bit of a puzzle to put together. There are no pilot holes where some of the screws go, so it may not be very easy to assemble for some. Plus the instructions are just vague photos. I did take the advice of another commenter and reinforced the bench with a block of wood so it'll be more sturdy. I'll also be stapling the top canopy to the wood frame since it's only secured by velcro. We used 400lbs of sand to fill.

Toddler (3yo) loves it- I also love it (I sit out with my feet in the sand and pretend I’m on an exotic beach) great size- not too small and not too big- super easy to put together - took me about 45 min by myself (and most of that time was figuring out the benches? the wood isn’t going to hold that much weight- but I can sit on a bench (very slowly and carefully) at 170lbs and I don’t worry about cracking/breaking the seat- kids probably shouldn’t jump on them though- we filled ours with 8 bags of sand and it’s held up great for 3 months already, enduring wind, rain and over 100* temps. The rain filled up the awning which I just released to get the water off which then went into the sand, but it dried quickly and after a little fluffing it was good as new. Definitely recommend this sandbox!! 🏖
