Fit in question

Not sure if the fit over the wood was too loose. Paint peeled off in a few places also. The swingset was built and seems very sturdy!

Great buy.

My kids and I like this product. My kids because of what I made with for them and I became it made the job of building a swing set much faster. Differently a two to three person job but once you have all the materials assembly was cake. I didnt have to cut a thing and I have so much confidence in the durability of the brackets.

Crap deal

Wore out! Had to go to home depot for longer screws and new clips , I baught new! Disappointed! Paid hard earn money for only one part that can be used had to spend another 45$ for New parts to finish ! Terrible awful practice from dealer!

Measurements not correct to picture

Seems sturdy but they give the basic measurements of 4x4 and 4x6... this is not the interior measurements which are over 1/4 inch smaller on each bracket... ordered rough cut wood so now i have to find a way to plane a 16ft 4x6 for the center bracket to fit

Buyer Beware, no... Buyer 'Be Aware' Lumber's sold at Retail (consistently) smaller than you think

This is actually -kind of- a response to "Darrell" (sp?) & his review earlier.
When the pictures & other reviewers describe "4x4" or "4x6" beams to be placed (& screwed) into the brackets, both parties are referring to "Dimensional" Lumber.
In the US, when lumber is sold at a retail outlet (like Home Depot? or Lowes?) the boards & beams are planed/sanded down a bit to improve their appearance. This reduces the actual thickness of the wood.
Many years ago this process & these values were standardized, and now you will find Retail Lumber pretty much ? inch less than the stated value. Therefore, a "4x4" beam will actually measure "3?x3?", a "2x4" will come to "1?x3?" and so on.

{Don't even get me started on Plywood!} ??????

screws not galvanized

We received two middle pieces and one end piece and just decided not to mess with a return so they worked fine. But no galvanized screws is a bit of an issue. I definitely should have read the description closer because we ended up spending more money to go get galvanized screws (hello a swingset is outside regular screws won't cut it). Overall I probably would've gone with a different brand looking back but they got the job done I guess
